- 2Bend one knee and place a strap or towel around the ball of your foot.
- 3Extend your leg towards the ceiling, holding the strap ends with both hands.
- 4Gently pull the strap to bring your leg closer to your body.
What you should feel
Let your left leg rest heavy on the floor.
Form tips
- Keep your bottom leg extended and pressed into the floor. Ensure your extended leg is straight with a flexed foot. Maintain a flat back and grounded hips.
- Feel the back of your right leg slowly let go.
- A soft bend in the knee is fine.
Make it easier
If your lower back is sensitive, bend your left knee and plant that foot.
Coming out of it
